StructureTool2D Training
A training video (link shown below) is available for an earlier version of StructureTool2D. The main analysis workflow is still relevant, but the current web interface has been updated. A new training video will be added when available.
What still applies from the earlier video
- The app still uses Excel structure data workbooks.
- The app still analyzes beams, frames, and trusses.
- The main plotting and reporting functions remain part of the workflow.
- The stiffness, Slope-Deflection, Unit Load, and Force Method workflows are still available in the current app.
What has changed in the current interface
- Tab A now provides two starting options: create a model in Builder or open a structure data file.
- The Builder is opened from the Open Builder button in Tab A.
- Section B uses a Structure Type dropdown for Truss, Beam, and Frame.
- The app now sets NE automatically from the selected structure type.
- Several report, plotting, and preview layouts have been refined.
